The University Centre Saint-Ignatius Antwerp (UCSIA) is an offspring of the former Jesuit university UFSIA. It was founded in 2002 by the Jesuit Order and members of the former UFSIA, when the 3 universities in Antwerp merged into one: University of Antwerp, the first explicitly pluralistic university in Belgium. In addition to a multipurpose hall, classical meeting infrastructure was also provided. With the BYOM principle, you can set up and join meetings with the push of a button without any prior knowledge.
Multipurpose Hall with Camera Registration
At the university, an advanced audiovisual setup has been installed that offers camera registration and archiving of images. This installation is designed to enhance both the educational aspect and presentations through high-quality visual and auditory support.
Also Clear from a Distance
The installation consists of one main screen and two return monitors. The main screen serves as the primary display for presentations, lectures, and other visual content. This screen provides a bright and clear image, making it easy for all attendees to follow the information.
Epiphan: Video Recording, Streaming, and Switching
The two return monitors are strategically placed to support the presenter and provide the audience with additional viewing angles. These monitors provide feedback on what is displayed on the main screen, so the presenter is always aware of the content shown without having to turn around. This ensures a smooth and professional presentation.
The camera registration capabilities of the installation make it possible to record lectures and presentations. These recordings enhance the quality of the presentations. Reviewing keynotes or sharing knowledge with a broader (online) audience ensures that all content lasts much longer over time. The cameras are movable and offer a wide field of view to capture all important moments.
Wayfinding and Overview Thanks to Centoview
A digital signage system was also installed to make wayfinding and educational programs clear for visitors and externals. This system helps with navigating the building and ensures that everyone is always aware of the latest information and facility updates. Our digital signage software Centoview offers a user-friendly interface and real-time updates, making it an indispensable tool for an efficient and well-organized learning environment.
Successful AV Installation
